Anche quest’anno si è svolto il primo lunedì di maggio il Met Gala 2022, dopo essere stato cancellato nel 2020 e tenuto lo scorso anno a settembre, è tornato in tutto il suo sfarzo.
Il tema di questa edizione è stato Gilded Glamour, un omaggio all’epoca d’oro della storia americana, sul red carpet del vernissage della mostra del Costume Institute del Metropolitan Museum di New York dal titolo In America: An Anthology of Fashion, Blake Lively accompagnata dal marito Ryan Reynolds, insieme co-conduttori dell’evento ha indossato un meraviglioso abito ispirato all’Art Déco di Atelier Versace.
Insieme, per la prima volta al Met Gala, sono arrivati Chiara Ferragni e Fedez, anche loro in Atelier Versace. Il vestito di Chiara, omaggia l’ultima collezione disegnata nel 1997 da Gianni Versace.
Anche la cantante Cardi B indossava un abito di Atelier Versace, strizzata in un corsetto oro, davvero non è passata inosservata.
Total look firmato Versace anche per la top model Gigi Hadid, corsetto rosso fuoco con leggings in vernice abbinati, stivali con il tacco, maxi piumino imbottito con un lungo strascico e maniche svasate: una vera regina di cuori.

Ma la coppia più chiacchierata d’America è stata Kim Kardashian e il comico Pete Davidson, lei con il suo nuovo look biondo platino indossava l’iconico vestito che Marilyn Monroe indossò nel 1962, per cantare Happy Birthday al presidente americano J. F. Kennedy
Elegantissima la tennista Venus Williams che per l’occasione ha indossato un abito con pantaloni di Chloé con uno sfavillante collier di diamanti e smeraldi.
