Si è chiusa qualche giorno fa la settimana della moda a Londra per passare il testimone a Milano. È stata una fashion week diversa, per l’interruzione dovuta ai funerali della regina Elisabetta II, la LFW ha dovuto rivedere il suo programma e mettere in pausa tutti gli eventi programmati, ma nonostante tutto, non si può dire che sia stata così sottotono.
Dall’omaggio di JW Anderson in passerella a Her Majesty, fino a Emily Ratajkowski che ha sfilato per Nensi Dojaka, il catwalk ha brillato anche per la presenza delle celbrity in front row, dalle attrici delle nostre serie preferite, fino alle it girl come Alexa Chung e Mia Regan.
Protagoniste della LFW sono le giovani designers come il LVMH Prize 2021 Nensi Dojaka, Simone Rocha e KNWLS; ad aprire la runway di Dojaka è la super modella Vittoria Ceretti che in passerella ha indossato un mini dress di pizzo, lacci e satin, giochi di lacci e cut out, marchio di fabbrica della stilista, attraverso cui esprime la sua idea di femminilità, la designer albanese ha portato in passerella un cast d’eccezione, a chiusere la sfilata la modella Emily Ratajkowski con un lunghissimo slip dress con corsetto in tulle ciliegia e gonna malva aderente.
KNWLS, il brand fondato da Charlotte Knowles e Alexandre Arsenault, presenta in un location abbandonata la collezione SS23 protagoniste le classiche silhouette del marchio, lacci corsetti e tagli cut out, ma in chiave più fluida e femminile, nelle tonalità bubblegum e acquamarina, parrucche cosparse di glitter, fiori sgargianti e silhouette diafane e svasate.
Con una presentazione che si è svolta presso la Central Criminal Court of England and Wales, la designer Simone Rocha debutta con la prima collezione maschile, la donna dialoga con la sua controparte maschile «Sentivo di voler lavorare su questa bellissima mascolinità, come ho fatto nell’ultima decade con la femminilità. Il ruolo che entrambe giocano, come si possono reciprocamente attraversare. Voglio davvero esplorare la fragilità nella mascolinità», ha commentato nel backstage.: abiti in tulle da abbinare a bomber oversize, ballerine plateau, bretelle con le cinghie e rose ovunque.
