Si è ispirato alla musica prima ancora di sapere cosa significasse il fashion design, fortemente influenzato dai videoclip e su come un look alla moda possa esprimere fortemente qualcosa che riguarda la musica. Dal punto di vista di Nicolas, la musica e la moda sono tra i modi che collegano meglio le persone. Fin da giovane è stato influenzato da vari tipi di musica. Ciò ha mantenuto vivo fino ad oggi il suo interesse per vari stili musicali e ha influenzato profondamente il suo linguaggio progettuale per speranze, sogni e unioni.

“Nicolas Di Felice has been the artistic director of Courrèges since 2020. Since his arrival at the French House, he has been working on the creation of the runway soundtracks with his friend Erwan Sene. Music has always been an important part of his creative process around the collections.
He has been inspired by music before even knowing what fashion design stands for, strongly influenced by video clips, and how a fashion look can strongly express something in regards to music. In Nicolas’s view, music and fashion are among the ways that better connect people. He has been influenced by various types of music since he was young. This has kept his interest in various styles of music alive to this day and has deeply influenced his design language for hopes, dreams and togetherness.
The parties initiated worldwide with the Courrèges Clubs also express his willingness to bring people together around music, clubbing and communities.”
