LET’S FOCUS ON MARNI FW23/24 COLLECTION

Ripartire dall’altra parte del mondo, dopo New York, Francesco Risso designer di Marni vola a Tokyo per presentare la collezione FW 23/24 ; avvolge il Yoyogi National Gymnasium, progettato nel 1962 dall’architetto Kenzo Tage, di carta bianca, così come le sedie degli ospiti della sfilata e l’orchestra.

Un candido involucro, 1800 invitati sulle loro sedie una lettera scritta a mano, con la domanda: why do I make clothes? Ritmo e musica incalzante sulle note scritte dal direttore musicale Dev Hynes, Vol.2: #64 ; la scena si compone di silhouette che esaltano colori e forme, propri del DNA del brand, intensità dal mood pop art, declinazioni geometriche.

Nel finale un meraviglioso coro dalle voci angeliche e soavi chiude lo show, Risso, tutto di carta vestito, scende dalla scalinata come un paziente, sulla camicia da degente, messaggi scritti a mano, da maici e sostenitori.

La collezione Marni Autunno Inverno 2023/24 Vol.2 si ipira alle grandi collezioni dei couturier giapponesi; completi in lana mohair con giga pois, motivi check o griglie cinetiche, capi che sorprendono ed incantano per intensità e eccentricità.

Restarting on the other side of the world, after New York, Francesco Risso designer of Marni flies to Tokyo to present the FW 23/24 collection; wraps the Yoyogi National Gymnasium, designed in 1962 by architect Kenzo Tage, in white paper, as well as the chairs of the guests of the parade and the orchestra.

A candid envelope, 1800 guests on their chairs a handwritten letter, with the question: why do I make clothes? Rhythm and pressing music to the notes written by musical director Dev Hynes, Vol.2: #64 ; the scene is made up of silhouettes that enhance colors and shapes, typical of the brand’s DNA, intensity with a pop art mood, geometric variations.

In the finale, a wonderful choir with angelic and sweet voices closes the show, Risso, dressed all in paper, comes down the stairs like a patient, on his patient’s shirt, handwritten messages, from maici and supporters.

The Marni Fall Winter 2023/24 Vol. 2 is inspired by the great collections of Japanese couturiers; mohair wool suits with giga polka dots, check motifs or kinetic grids, garments that surprise and enchant for their intensity and eccentricity.
