Molti grandi nomi hanno disertato, ma giovani designers emergenti invece hanno conquistato gli addetti ai lavori.
Lo stilista Tom Ford ha cancellato il suo fashion show a causa della variante Omicron, annunciando con una nota stampa che “nell’ultimo mese, a causa del Covid, abbiamo avuto grandi problemi all’interno del team, abbiamo tentato tutto il possibile per evitare che la sfilata a New York fosse cancellata ma, alla fine, faremo i conti con la triste verità: non avremo una collezione completa in tempo per la settimana della moda di New York”.
Grande assente anche Marc Jacobs, dalla cui maison però non è arrivata nessuna data certa per la prossima sfilata.
Tory Burch, invece ha reso omaggio allo stile della sua città, New York, multietnica e cosmopolita con tutte le variopinte personalità che la compongono, dalla signora chic dell’Upper East Side alla giovane creativa di Brooklyn.
Eleganza classica e glamour anche per Micheal Kors Collection che porta in passerella cappotti lussuosi, pellicce a tutto volume; c’è voglia di tornare a vestirsi bene, ma allo stesso tempo di farlo con un guardaroba ricco di capi che non rinunciano al comfort.
Addominali a vista e makeup stile Euphoria, l’imprenditrice digitale Chiara Ferragni ha catturato l’attenzione su di se, esibendo dei look ben studiati e di sicuro effetto, assicurandosi il titolo di regina indiscussa della New York Fashion week.
